Yard Line Up

Already a food-lovers paradise, King’s Cross expands its offering this summer with Yard Line Up - a festival of food for outdoor diners.

From 5 June to 23 October, Coal Drops Yard, King’s Cross will be home to a rotating cast of food and drink outlets, chefs and artisans, covering the full sweep of London’s remarkable gastronomic landscape.

Set in the soaring surrounds of Coal Drops Yard, Yard Line Up creates a warm and relaxed cosmopolitan food and drink experience, perfect for hungry visitors in search of something a little different.  Bringing big hitters and next gen names from the gastro scene to King’s Cross, Yard Line Up is the perfect way to taste the best London’s food scene has to offer, handed to you on a paper plate from a classic van window rather than on a silver platter.

Turn Up Truck will be on site for the whole season, hosting a thrilling group of guest chefs to cook in the kitchen of their specially converted 1950s Citroen van. Their weekend roster features next gen and cult favourites including Sepps, Dudu Eats and Rachel Ama, with Toklas Bakery providing baked goods from Monday to Thursday every week. This exciting new concept gives young businesses the chance to test and scale, and offers established food brands the perfect trading opportunity outside their existing outlets.

The team behind Morty & Bob's will launch Bob's Wife, a converted 10-foot shipping container transformed into a seasonal bar pop-up. Originally built to travel the world carrying goods overseas, the container has been repurposed into a beautifully designed kiosk, just right for long afternoon sessions, takeaway coffees and after-work drinks in the sun.
