Printing Futures
During this interactive workshop with Blast Studio, students will explore the world of sustainable design and technology, discovering the potential of biomaterials sourced from urban waste. Over the course of two days, participants will learn how to create biomaterials, experiment with tile production, and even explore the possibility of using hacked 3D printers to create small, biodegradable architectures for plants and insects from urban waste.
This is an opportunity for 15 state school students (age 14-18). These workshops are part of STORE STORE BUILD, a small scale building project run as a series of free after school clubs in architecture, engineering, urban ecology and construction.
