Design Everything: A Seat At The Table

Following the success of their debut exhibition in 2024

Design Everything returns this September with A Seat At The Table — a mobile, evolving exhibition made up of a collection of seats designed by some of the country’s most exciting emerging talent. The concept for the show was born out of frustration with how difficult it is for emerging creatives to share their work as part of the London Design Festival (LDF) and be part of conversations with key industry

stakeholders.

The exhibition will be installed in the back of a Luton van — a vehicle synonymous with moving furniture around the capital.

On the 20th of September the Luton van will stop right here in Coal Drops Yard and put on a pull-up shop open to the public as well as a special book launch from 4-6pm

The humble seats will be taken from their plinths and used to facilitate these events, creating conversation, collaboration, and community.
