DESCRIBE WHAT YOU DO IN 3 WORDS:
Hats And Stuff

WHAT DOES YOUR WORKSPACE LOOK LIKE?

Usually a scruffy windowless box I share with 2 other friends, but it's a good place to knuckle down and get in the zone.
At the moment I am working from the edge of the sofa at the flat, but working on my lock down set up so my sewing machine whirring doesn't pester my housemates.
Material waxing always happens precariously on the hob at home, but the smell of warm beeswax can be quite a nice one I think.

WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO WHILST WORKING?

I find it varies a lot depending on my mood. If I'm thinking of ideas I tend to like silence or something very mellow. Once I get on the machine I like listening to audiobooks or podcasts, I can get lost in it and sew for hours and forget about lunch.
I had a phase of listening to Mythos by Stephen Fry, sometimes I'll listen to some quality investigative journalism with the podcast 'The Tip Off' and recently if I fancy some music I've been listening to 'I Trawl the Megahurtz' by Prefab Sprout, quite an epic tune to get lost in.

WHAT ARE YOU READING AT THE MOMENT?

I've really struggled to read during the age of Covid19, there’s been too many things to worry about so it's been difficult to focus in that way, but usually I love any book by Paul Auster, alternatively a good escape would be 'The Living Mountain' by Nan Shepherd.

IF YOU WEREN’T DOING WHAT YOU DO, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?

Probably staring at the ceiling
