BUAISOU was established in 2015 on the island of Tokushima in Japan. Their natural indigo-dyed products are the result of hundreds of years of traditional processes and they do everything themselves in-house, by hand. The process of producing natural indigo dye involves four ingredients - indigo leaves, lye, bran and shell lime. From cultivating the raw indigo to fermenting the indigo leaves, and designing the range to all aspects of production, BUAISOU are a brand whose attention to detail is reflected in every aspect of the clothing that they make.
